Admission Criteria

To be eligible for residency at Heritage Place Assisted Living, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Age 55 or older

  • Enrolled members of the MHA Nation are given priority

  • Requires only minimal assistance—care needs must be limited to verbal or written reminders or support from a single caregiver

  • Does not actively misuse alcohol or drugs

  • Resident’s safety is not at risk if they leave the facility independently

  • Does not require skilled nursing care, including:

    • Extensive wound care

    • Tracheostomy management

    • Feeding tube assistance

    • Total assistance with eating

    • Medical isolation for contagious infections or illnesses
